Personal Horses

Hooligan was Laura’s first horse. Laura’s parents told her that she could have a horse when she could afford to buy one. After countless hours of mucking stalls Laura had finally saved the funds to buy the 12 year old Morgan-Standardbred cross she had met and fallen in love with at a summer riding camp. Their 3-year partnership included competing at many local and recognized dressage shows and two-phases. They also spent a fair amount of time riding with friends through the woods and hay fields. Hooligan ignited Laura’s passion for training and competition. When she out grew Hooligan, she sold him to a family with 3 young girls who learned from him and loved him just as much as Laura did.

Syncro - 1994 Enrico Caruso x Sonset x Habicht

Syncro is the son of the decorated Trakehner stallion, Enrico Caruso and came into Laura’s life in 2003. Somewhat of a fairy tale story, Laura believes that their partnership was truly “meant to be”. They began the long climb up the levels together, which concluded at Grand Prix, 7 years after their partnership began. Syncro earned every score toward Laura’s USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals. Please see the biography section for some of Syncro’s accomplishments and awards.
